Registration for XVI Project 5-100 seminar-conference now open

The event will be held on 6-8 June 2016 in Moscow and will be hosted by Project 5-100 new member Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.  The program will open with a plenary session devoted to the best practices of the First Med, and the university has also made provisions to treat its guests to extensive tours of its research and education centers.

An additional plenary session devoted to the results and plans of Project 5-100 will feature Alexander Povalko (Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russia), Grigory Andruschak (Director of the Department for Strategy, Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Education and Science) and Mikhail Antonov (Director of Project Office 5-100) among the speakers.

The main topics of the Seminar-Conference will showcase the development of biomedical lines of education and research; recruitment of international students, lecturers and researchers; international promotion of Russian universities; assessment of the problems and results of international promotion of Russian universities according to global reputation surveys; international publishing creativity and citation of Russian publications; recommendations for researchers regarding how to prepare publications for leading global journals; taking Russian journals to an international level; contemporary e-learning technologies, LMS and MOOC; working with students, guidance counseling; and best communication practices of Project 5-100 universities.

Employees of Project 5-100 universities will be registered by their universities’ project offices (programs development departments); they do not need to register online. We welcome participants from other universities, business organizations, and the ‘expert’ community. The Seminar is free; you just need to register online (russian language).

Project 5-100 has been organizing quarterly seminar-conferences since 2013. These seminars represent the main Russian forum devoted to the strategic development, international promotion and transformation of Russian universities into world-class institutions. Almost 500 representatives of senior management from 46 Russian universities, Russian and foreign companies took part in the previous seminar-conference which was held on 11-12 February 2016 in Yekaterinburg.
