15 universities represent Russia at the NAFSA 2017 Conference&Expo

Russian delegation has just arrived in the United States to participate in the world's largest international education expo, which takes place in Los Angeles. National Association for Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA), the world’s largest association dedicated to international education and exchange, brings together the most diverse and vibrant education community: "Study in ..." national projects, leading American and world universities, ranking companies, education authorities, leaders and changemakers at the NAFSA’s 2017 Annual Conference & Expo.

Among the exhibitors are national projects of the format "Study in ...", leading American and world universities, the world's largest rating companies, national academic exchange services.

The delegation of the Russian Federation is headed by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lyudmila Ogorodova.

NAFSA Conference & Expo is one of the world’s top three largest education forums, along with EAIE and APAIE. The NAFSA 2017 Expo Hall showcases exhibitors from all parts of the globe, including Russia. 15 Russian leading universities – Project 5-100 participants – have set up a joint exhibit. The forum focuses on developing cooperation in the field of international education, deepening partnerships and ensuring strong connections to support joint educational programs, student and academic mobility, double diploma programs, internationalization and articulate its values.

NAFSA’s four plenary speakers will share their unique insights and viewpoints on the challenges and opportunities facing everyone in the ever-changing global landscape. Isabel Wilkerson, opening plenary on May, 30, is an award-winning journalist and a New York Times bestselling author, who continues to chronicle the impact of immigration on both America’s history and future, and a Professor of Journalism at Princeton, Emory, Northwestern, and Boston University. President Barack Obama awarded her the 2015 National Humanities Medal.

Russian delegation’s agenda involves engaging with colleagues from around the globe, leading education pioneers, policy makers and education experts, sharing experience and meeting with current and prospective partners. RUDN University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Project 5-100 Project office will make presentations on international student and scholar services, international enrollment management, teaching, learning and scholarship at the poster session. Russian delegation will be at work, taking part in broad and inclusive consultations among education partners and stakeholders, partnership building and education abroad networking events and programs.

Project 5-100 is attending for the third time NAFSA Conference & Expo, which is an excellent platform for launching and developing an effective dialogue with foreign partners, expanding the horizons of cooperation, promoting Russian education on the international market, contributing to the development of intercultural communication.
