Project 5-100 participates in the 5th Education Fair VUZPROMEXPO-2017 in MoscowDecember 13, 2017
VUZPROMEXPO is an annually held event that aims at summing up the results of implementing state higher education policy and federal target education programs. Traditional fair participants include Russian institutions of higher education and universities, state corporations, relevant ministries, government agencies and industry engaged in implementing the country’s innovation policy.
13-14 December Project 5-100 will showcase details of important scientific discoveries and advanced technologies developed under the auspices of universities participating in the Project.
On the first day of the Fair a roundtable titled “Methodology for Assessing Innovation Performance of Universities” organised by Project 5-100, will be held. Specialists from the Russian Venture Company (RVC) and ITMO University will present their own methodology and the results of monitoring the efficiency of innovation performance, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook indicators in the national and world university rankings.
The roundtable will be opened by Nina Yanykina, Head of Project Management and Innovation Department of ITMO University. Discussion participants will include Editor of the National University Rankings Aleksey Chaplygin, Editor of International University Ranking (RUR) Oleg Solovyev, Egor Yablokov, Regional Director for Russia and CIS of the Times Higher Education Ranking, Konstantin Belyakov, Vice-Rector for Innovation of Tomsk State University and Technology Transfer Development Manager at RVC Svetlana Emets.
Representatives of ranking agencies will speak to the event participants research, intellectual property and science, and a university’s overall innovations performance indicators in the national and world university rankings.
