Project 5–100 participates in the Moscow International Education FairApril 17, 2018
Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) will be held on 18-21 April. It is an annual forum, expo and study fair aimed at fostering exchanges between Russian and foreign education systems, promoting pedagogical, teaching and learning best practices for both specialists and a wide audience, and offering the widest range of choices from pre-universities to postgraduate programs as well as vocational courses. This year’s theme ‘New Educational Ecosystem’ invites academics, institutional leaders and practitioners to share diverse perspectives, gain deeper insights and network.
Project 5–100 attends the event for the fifth time in a row and organizes two events this year. A round-table dedicated to the international promotion of higher education and Project 5–100 universities experience will be held on April 18. Project 5-100 also runs a special session on the support programs for talented students, postgraduates and Project 5–100 universities’ experience on April 19. These events provide a unique opportunity for marketing, policy and public affairs professionals working in higher education, deans, department chairs and faculty to discuss the most relevant issues currently facing the sector while gaining insight into the latest trends.
Expert round-table on ‘The international promotion of higher education. Project 5–100 universities experience’ will offer actual working tools and tricks on how to facilitate university integration and further expansion on the world market. It focuses on the challenges and strategies to implement international marketing and comprehensive internationalisation policies, the attractiveness and the promotion of higher education institutions. The key note speakers are M. Vrublevskaya, Director of Centre for International Education, HSE, E. Apasova, Head of PR Department, RUDN University, I. Myasnikov, Dean of the journalism faculty TSU, O. Maslennikova, Director of the Joint Education Program Center, TSU, M. Ott, Director of the department for Master’s programs, TSU. Moderator and a round table chair is Natalia Tyurina, Head of the ‘Social Navigator’ project of ‘RIA Novosti’. This round-table is an important venue to share best practices and discuss innovative solutions.
The special session ‘Support programs for talented students and postgraduates. Project 5–100 universities experience’ will discuss methods and mechanisms to support talented university students and postgraduates, and their influence on the university environment. The discussion will bring together a diverse community of teaching and learning professionals, administrators and policy makers. The featured speakers are E. Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) is one of the major events in the sphere of education in Russia, a forum, and the largest exhibition of new educational technologies, as well as infrastructural and intelligent solutions. The Fair serves as a platform for dialogue between educational and expert communities, state institutions, and business on the present and future issues of the educational system. The MIEF engages Russian and foreign businesses to contribute to Russian educational process, in particular, in a form of public-private partnerships.
