Main activity

RUDN University is a comprehensive university, which integrates research and education in dozens of fields. RUDN encompasses 5 faculties, 11 institutes and 1 academy, 25 bachelor and master programs have been accredited internationally. The concept “From teaching to learning” realized at RUDN helps train creative graduates.

RUDN is a very active research hub. There are more than 150 scientific and educational laboratories, more than 30 research and education centers and 3 shared research centers. In 2016, 3 new research mathematic and chemistry institutes were opened and leading researchers headed 8 new research centers and laboratories.

In 2016, “Full employment postdoc program” was opened. The postdoc student works at the department under the guidance of leading Russian and foreign scientists, go for internships to leading universities and research centers and get additional scholarships.

In 2016, 38 new Bachelor’s and Master’s programs were started with London Metropolitan University, Napier Edinburgh University and The Nice Sophia Antipolis University.

RUDN representatives go to different countries to hold Olympiads to attract talented entrants.

RUDN has opened 3 Centers of the Russian language and pre-university training at universities in Ecuador, China and Jordan and 10 specialized classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology in Jordan, China, Ecuador, Columbia, Peru, Chile and Vietnam.
